I got everyone up early and got them ready so we could head down to Cincinnati for the parade, I wanted to be able to get a spot where we could actually see. We got there early enough that we got to walk around Findley Market (I have been wanting to go there for awhile) it is like a big farmers market and you can go in and eat, there are all different vendors whatever your in the mood for I'm sure you can get it there, unfortunately not much was open that morning. We went ahead and walked to where the parade would be going by and found a good spot to stand. The kids were getting a little antsy, actually I think we all were, finally the Parade started. I felt awful though, I didn't think about it being sunny out since it was cold when we left the house and Kaden and Bryleigh's poor little cheeks got so red. At least they had fun, Kaden liked all of the big trucks, every time we would see a semi he would yell "Big Truuuuuuck!!". Bryleigh enjoyed it too until she got tired, she ended up falling asleep and when she woke up the parade was still going on! Yes that is how long the parade was, she was able to take a full nap. Didn't know it was going to be a 2 1/2 hour parade!
Cincinnati Reds Opening Day!
The weather here in Ohio has been so bi polar it doesn't know if it wants to rain, snow or be sunny and 75! I am so glad that Monday ended being nice, the sun was shining, it was warm and the perfect day for a parade. The Reds Opening Day Parade that is!! Yes that's right it's baseball season. My husband and I are huge baseball fans, I would rather go to a reds game then a fancy dinner any day. We love that Kaden is starting to like baseball just as much as we do!

The day turned out to be a fun family day, my cousin and her husband rode down with us too. I hope Bryleigh enjoyed her first opening day parade, I know Kaden had fun. Hopefully this warm weather sticks around so we can take the kids to some games!
