Happy St. patricks Day
For the lucky link-up I was paired with Tidy lady's fun treats for kids. She had all different fun and festive treat ideas to make but I ended up going with the rainbow pancakes. Kaden loved these pancakes. They were a little time consuming but worth it when I seen how excited Kaden got over them, I think I got a "thanks mommy, these are awesome!" That is his new thing he is always saying this is awesome. That totally made my day hearing him say that:)
This is the recipe I used.......
Old Fashioned Pancakes
1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
3 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon white sugar
1 1/4 cups milk
1 egg
3 tablespoons melted butter
Sift together flour, baking powder, salt and sugar. Make a well in the center and pour in the milk, egg and melted butter; mix.
Separate batter into several bowls and add drops of food coloring.
Throw on the griddle and voila! Rainbow Pancakes:)
